We hope you’ll join us for Marine Mammals of Maine’s largest fundraising event, and Maine’s most picturesque 5K, as we return to Hermit Island on October 14th 2023. The Ocean Commotion is full of fun for the whole family!
- Professionally chip timed running and walking heats, an untimed walk and a virtual option during the week prior to the in-person event
- 1 mile kids fun run and interactive kids corner
- Well behaved dogs are welcome
- Awesome raffle items from several local businesses

When you register you can add on an additional donation and purchase limited edition race gear (check out the shirt design below). It’s a great way to spend a seaside, fall day and funds raised help support our mission to respond to, rehabilitate, research and educate the community about Maine’s marine mammals.
