So far this year, four harbor seal pups have been released back to the wild after rehabilitation at our center!
All four were rescued as abandoned pups in need of nurturing and treatment to survive. During their three months in our care, they healed from injuries; overcame umbilical, respiratory, ear, and wound infections; were weaned from formula and taught to hunt and eat fish; and nearly tripled their weight.
Without supporters like you, they—and the many others who received compassionate, humane care in our center—would not have received a second chance and would never have made it home.
Please join us in celebrating these successes; we can’t get enough of seal releases!
